will check the cam timing again just in case, it was fine when i fitted the belt, i done think the cams or crank moved during fitting, the crank sensor is fitted and plugged in.......if the cam wheels moved during fitting i would still expect a spark maybe?

hi all seem to be connected, just spotted the aux drive belt is not fitted (alt/air con/pas) could that have anything to do with the issue?

Could do, the ecu might pick up that the alternator is not doing anything, its probably worth fitting it to see.

And have you got the knock sensors connected?

When i removed the spark pug to check for the spark it seemed very dry although the fuel rail is full, maybe the ecu wont allow the injectors to work or produce a spark if the belt is dissconnected?
