Opinions on the above car - seems good price.

that car looks nice mate why the gearbox worry you the autos are good its the geartronic you need to worry about in the p2s

That looks really nice mate.
I had an auto V70T5 and the transmission was brilliant until I killed by power braking when drag racing! Other than that it would have gone on for years.
You can't lose anything by going and having a look and a test drive; if it's been well looked after, which it appears to have been then go for it!

Looks good and at a decent price.
Don't think you need to worry about the auto's on the older cars (as long as its looked after and no power starting!), me and my mate both had auto t4's and prob done 70k between us with no problems at all.
My s70r may only have a 4 spd auto, but when its warmed up, its so smooth you barely notice it change gear.

Looks like a tidy motor if it has a FSH I don't think you'll have too many surprises.

Cheers guys - I more a manual man but we are having another child and my wife is not keen on manual and therefore I am thinking ahead a bit - get the best of both worlds an R for me and the auto bit of the package for her....

I still worry on autos however as you say its probs worth considering.
