You know the one on the inlet manifold at the drive belt side tucked away. There is a hose clamp holding the remainder of hose on, I need to remove this clamp to attach the new hose but can't get enough access to try and lever out the little clamp.

It's fairly common failure so I'm guessing a lot of you have had to replace it. Volvospeed state to remove the power steering pump for un-restricted access but don't go into any detail!

Did mine a few weeks ago, didn't need to remove the pump, PIA of a job but not overly difficult.

I followed this;

It's pretty much spot on.

If it's the clamp I think your talking about it comes off by squeezing the clip? Nipper pliers used for tiling work well.

Yeh, its the one you need to compress the expand so it can be removed.

I cant get any tool in the small gap to release it though!

By the way, im not removing the manifold if possible lol
