abs keeps cutting in even when you just press the breaks slightly but after awhile its fine agen any ideas?

Are you certain it's the abs cutting in and not brake judder caused by warped discs or knackered TCA bushes/balljoints ?

speed ring is either cracked or missing a tooth or 2. Just had mine fixed - same symptoms.

yeah certain its abs sounds like a machine gun every time i touch the breaks the lights come on and off all the time since i got the car 3 years ago but never caused any problems can the ring b changed on its own or is it a new hub

you can get them separately for some cars. but they are a pain to change. you need to heat them up. like a ring gear if you have ever done one of them. cv joints for the 850's are not to expensive. and probably not worth the hassle of changing the reluctor

have u checked to see if the rings are clean, if they have mud in them or a stop etc, they will do the exact same thing, i had this problem on my gsi i had a stone stuck in one of teeth causing abs to do that

going to try and have a look tomoz aint had chance yet ive just dissconected the ecu for now thanks for all the advice she starting to show her age lol
