Dangerous Situation

First off I'd like to say HI !! as I just found the forum tonight. Looks like a good place to hang out

Right now I've joined I'd better get myself a T5 !!
The thing is - I'm in a very dangerous situation.
I have very little money, but do own an Audi 80 2.6E 4dr 1994M
So I'm trying to find an 850 T5 where I can p/x or swap for my motor.
In other words, my budget is under £1500
Can someone give me some basic advice of what to look for in a sub £1500 850 T5 ??

Hi! Welcome aboard!

You may need to be looking at ex-plod 850's for the sub £1500 mark. Thats not always a bad thing tho. You can expect to be looking at something with slightly higher mileage, but as I am sure you know these cars can go forever if well looked after.

However, there is the odd bargain private T5 out there. Lance picked one up from ebay a month or so ago for just over a grand with low mileage - it was basic spec but it does the job - he has had to spend a little on it to get it 100% but all in he still got himself a bargain!

Thanks for the advice Mrsmopp.
I have been looking on eBay, and found some interesting cars for sale.
Unfortunately for me I am having difficulty selling my Audi, so everything is on hold until I can find a buyer.

When I have some cash together and am ready to buy, I will probably ask for more advice if I find a suitable T5 for sale sub £1500
