Can someone guide me in the right direction. i have a v70 t5 on a 97 plate that the previous owner has fitted a set of muti stud pattern alloys on it???!!! they look nice but foul the inner arch on full lock, was told that the offset could be wrong. after looking into to it a bit more and tyre size and bits and bobs it gets confusing.

i have just looked at a set of v70r alloys an ebay, they are 7" wide not 7.5" as they wont fit the v70 only the c70 (so he says) is this true??

out of the factory it came with 2255016 tyres which is now 2254517. which i would make correct. but the tyre size on the wheels on ebay are 2054517.

what should be on vehicle and would my tyres be wrong size, and that is what is causing thet rubbing?????

fouling inner liner is the norm, you can fit blue steering stops off a C70, but will make 3 point turns 12 point turns, as a rule P1's have 215, on 7" rims except C70 that was 7.5" and had 225's

you should be running 215/45/17's (although you can get away with 215/40/17's (harder ride)

I run 215's on front and 225's on back, and have rolled arches slightly, but my inner arches are heavily rubbed, but dont wan't to go to blue steering stops, different tyres of same size will be slightly different widths, so one make can rub, yet another won't (My Eagle F1's rub, yet Avon ZZ3's don't), you may find offset is wrong on wheels IIRC it should be 43 although somewhere between 38 and 46 should fit (I stand to be corrected)
