Just to add a note of caution here - if it is the same arrangement as my T4 which I think it is.

As the guide says, slacken the nut, whilst the arm is still over the spindle. To be extra safe, you may want to hold the arm to the right of the locknut with a set of grips too. This will eliminate any chance of the arm moving and damaging the diaphragm. Some of managed to tear the diaphragm and rather than increase boost, it will leak.

I'm actually repairing the arm itself today, as the threaded portion which goes over the spindle has become elongated and loose, even with the nut as far as it will go. Nothing an angle grinder and an old bolt with the same size thread won't fix!
