I don't want to sound like a boy racer, but does anyone else feel really smug when a chav pulls up next to them at the lights in some saxo/206/clio piece of ****. I'm sorry, but i just have to embaress them in my 12 year old volvo!

A nice rubbing with linseed oil is very good for a French polish....

Observations on the dump valve.

Having to refine my gear changes a bit - has the effect of a lightened flywheel. When I lift off the throttle, the boost is (not rocket science this) just gone, so shifts become much quicker (although I think a short shift would really do the trick) and the car is just waiting around for the next gear. Power progression feels different.

Also sounds great. Although my little boy says it isn't loud enough and does not go phsssssh for long enough!

I have a spare genuine Forge blanking plate - unopened and brand spanking new. Will take sensible offers.

Yes, you do have to adapt on the gear changes a bit mate.

My Forge DV does appear to have got a bit louder/ longer since the 18T went on and coupled with the JT 3" zorst...I'm causing a disruption apparently.
