while looking for a t5 estate a dealer friend of mine offerd (well i bought it) me a lwb vauxhall frontera 2.2 (petrol) transglobe its a r reg 98 with full main dealer history and 66k on the clock it has a/c pas ew x4 abs and so on taxed april o6 mot may 06 in v good condition

any offers???

If your driving a frontera, perhaps the worst built 4x4 ever IMHO, I'm not surprised.

I don't know. I did a 4x4 driver training weekend prior to a trip across Africa, and they used Fronteras as school cars. I was quite impressed with what they could do, as I'd always considered them road cars. Of course, proper off-road tyres made a big difference.

Then we loaded up the Nissan Patrols and didn't look back!

ive never had a problem with them ive had two they were the swb though...this lwb ive got is spot on no problems at all and very low milage and as for money wise they are cheap compered with the same year shogun(cost about £3500 more) a r reg disco will be about £3000 more and same with a freelander so i think there good value they do the job

i also know those three are a lot better than a frontera....with maybe the exception of the freelander
