If the rear top mount is different to standard shock mount, Can it be changed?
Want to lower the back down a bit.
Searching round doesn't throw up much about changing anything, Other than fit coil overs... Not doing that.

I think TC has been having some similar problems trying to lower his 960. Have you read through his thread, maybe some help or links on there?

So if you have Nivos but want non-levelling, is it a case of just getting new non-Nivo springs, new shocks and a set of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290427448058&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

If you have nivomats already then the top mount can be reused, if you are changing to nivomats then you would need nivomat top mounts.

I am led to believe that if you're going to use non-nivomat dampers you'll definitely need new springs as the nivomats provide a certain amount of 'spring' to the system. the std nivomat spring rate is less than that in a conventional damper/spring arrangement

Thats what I wanted to hear.
But, How come Koni list their kits as fitting all 850 except self levelling?

I guess it's because not all 850's had nivomats fitted as standard.

The cheapest way to do it mate is standard shocks, lowering springs and new top mounts, koni will fit as will any others designed for the 850, but you will need new top mounts.
