Ok here's an odd problem I've just noticed on my car:

I had the o/s/r wheel off last night and noticed that it's scrubbing the inner arch approxomately from 9 o'clock to 2 o'clock..if you get me.
It's not constant as there is clearance, I could feel no play with the car up last night.

It's a standard 855R on 215/45/17's
I'm assuming it's happening under high speed cornering loads?
And that a bushing on the rear link assy is shot (presumable the end not main bushing?)

Any suggestions?
Cheers Guys

Edit:
Should have said scrubbing is most pronounced between 10-11 o'clock.

Easiest thing would be not to go out in the car at those times of the day !......

.....sorry couldn't resist it !. It sounds as though you have delta arm bush problems, (likely the outer ones) most 850's are probably reaching the age where they are starting to deteriorate (I know mine are pretty ropey)
If the bushes are good then consider having a four wheel alignment done.

Badum-tish! I asked for that didn't I?
I brought it to a garage yesterday and they said the alignment cannot be done on the rear!
I was hoping it wasn't the outer delta link bush as iirc that's a git of a job.
The thing is they don't look bad but maybe I should just replace both.
159K miles and they're probably original....

There is tracking adjustment on the rear by adjusting the position of the delta arm bushes it's just likely that the garage doesn't realize or know how to do it. Four wheel alignment can't usually be done by independents or 'quick fit' type places as the equipment is quite specialized. Your better off asking a decent accident repairers to check it or somewhere that has full 4 wheel laser alignment gear.
