Presume you mean 850 on a V70? Check with Rufe for the definitive answer. The early 850 have removable ball joint and others have 4 bolts. Mainly they seem to be two bolt. FWD and AWD may well be different.

Do youurself a favour and get genuine Volvo ones - they are more likely to last a while!

My '97 850 Awd are fitted to the chassis with 4 bolt's! The bolt's go through the chassis,into the wishbone! The ball joint's were not removable ! Just done mine.

Yes but as Phil said the early 850's had a removable balljoint and the AWD ones are different to FWD so on both counts yours wouldn't be the same as 'normal' 850 and V70 classic ones.

as mine needs doing, like said the early 850's had removeable ones but newer ones need the full arms'
now I just need to fit mine :-)
