Has anyone on here fitted one of these to a P2?:

I currently have an ancient 'Arthur Negus' Nokia hands free holder wired up to the left hand side of the instrument stack, to the right of the central air vents and wanted to use the power feed from that when I remove it. The fitting instructions for the Brodit mention fitting an in-line fuse to it, but I suspect that the Nokia kit would have one anyway?

I haven't fitted one but I have ordered a Brodit mount for my N73 which promises to mate to the existing CK-7W Nokia kit. Seems to be good gear.

If your phone kit was a professional install the main lead should be fused already.

I use the standard windscreen mount on my Tom-tom, but I would (if I felt the need) install a desktop mount onto the dashboard.

I happen to have the centre vent brodit clip installed. It's probably the best of the options offered to mount on the dash.

Time to drag out a really old photo. I buried the traffic aerial into the dash and up the side pillar while I was at it. Works a treat.

Fitted a Brodit holder to the D5 cos they seem to be the only people making a dedicated holder for the N73/CK-7W combination.

Either the phone socket or the plug on the cable is knacked cos the phone jumps out of the connection over bumps. Other than that no worries. Quality kit.
