Knob is wearing thin - can I buy yours???

So what is the best way to fix my cream-beige leather R gear knob? I expect some choice double entendres (probably single ones knowing some of you) as to how I might overcome my troubles. I may PM RUfe to see if he has a spare one he could pull out of his spare parts box for me...but mine is looking past it's best. Must have been working it too hard.

Well how ever you fix it, maybe you'll learn to play nice and treat you new knob a little more gentler to avoid this in the future.

That's happened to me before now too...not an experience I wish to repeat :D
makes changing gear a tad tricky.
