Hello, I have a 2006 V70, 2.4, manual, non-turbo, 70K

It has a 'squeak', which sounds like some sort of belt noise, that happens under acceleration at around 2K then tails off, it doesn't squeak when I rev through 2K while stationary.

It is also sometimes hesitant / stutters under acceleration, again around 2K - any ideas what the problem might be - are the two issues related?

It's going in for a service on friday, what should I suggest the garage looks for in relation to the above?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the squeak unless it's cambelt related but then you might also expect it whilst stationary. Perhaps load/ drivetrain related - does it do it in all gears?

The hesitance could be something simple e.g. spark plug gaps/condition; air-filter condition; fuel filter condition or maybe a dirty MAF sensor. Think the ETM on 2006 cars is beyond reproach?
