New to the group just got a C70 T5 2.5 220BHP who is best to contact for a chip tune/upgrade and what would be good to do before the chip tune

Hi mate, welcome along

There are a few out there that do diffrent maps for volvo's.

Could contact russel at R.T Mechanics

Or Hamish at HLM Tuning

There are 3 main remaps RICA/BSR/MTE, though HLM now offer a new remap from ATM

I had the new ATM remap 2 weeks ago on my S60T5... awesome results. much better than any other tunes I had before..

as far as Im aware matey... your Ecu stuff gets copied.. emailed over to sweeden. the specialist there does all the needed power changes then it gets emailed back and uploaded back into the car. then the car is Dyno'd to make sure everything is working perfectly...

You can get the atm map with like softloader think it is called. Though this cost an extra 200 quid for the unit. It allows you to put map onto 5 diffrent cars though

i was trying to write what Bubba said when my connection crashed. Up to 5 cars on the softloader that HLM have. ATM are really good maps - my custom map is bar none the best custom map I have had (had 4). ATM are developing my map further when the main man comes over later this year.

I am running relatively low boost but still able to get great power (300ish)

The story/feedback I get for the off-the-shelf maps is similar.

I heard your boost was right down low but still pumping out the power.. dont put ya foot down too quick or ya wig will fall off lol
