Fitting Roof Rails Help!

Just bought some roof rails from eBay (at quite a steal too I must say, I love eBay) and it's got the fitting clips and bits with them. But I was just having a look, and it looks to me like I need shorter trim to go up the A-frame to where the rails will sit.

Is this correct?

yea, was thinking that but don't want leakage. oh wait, that's what roofing tar is for lol
