Booost...

right,

the ovlvo is currently boosting to 1bar an 75% of the time it holds it fine, ive adjusted the actuator rod to achive this...

the other 25% of the time it peaks to 1bar an drops to between 0.5 an 0.8 but it keeps trying to boost back up to 1bar when my foots still planted...

ive read the ecu has a boost limit at 13-14psi i think...

is it dropping because the ecu its trying to limit it? or is the boost control solonid bolted to the air box slightly foobard...?

also do they have a boost limit in 1st as it will never boost over 0.5bar in 1st...

just to note to ive relaced the pipes on the BCS with silicone ones...

am i correct in saying the the top pipe goes into the air intake

the middle one goes onto the actuator

the bottom one goes to the dv on the side of the turbo...

You will find none of the pipes from the bcs go to the recirc valve on the side of the turbo.

Does the pipe from the r/c valve go round to the front under the inlet manifold?? i might be wrong has been known

now looking at that picture i see whats what...

so the top pipe on the BCS goes to the turbo...(green)

the bottom one goes to the actuator...(yellow)

an the middle goes to the air intake pipe?...(blue)

i think mine are plummed in the wrong way...

were does the red pipe off the recirc...?


ill go check i think...

sorted, im guessing the bloke i bought it off had a MBC fitted as he did mumble somthing about re fitting one to it...

he had the top an bottom pipes around the wrong way so im guessing that the BCS was working/trying to work the wrong way around...

seems to boost ok...

will rig the MBC up at wkend an see whats what...

Mine goes to vac tree.think it can go to any vac nipple.
Sorry that was on my old turbo,have none now with no recirc valve on the turbo lol.
