After reading some good reviews of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres, I pushed the boat out and bought a full set of 215/40/17 from Camskill. They were delivered yesterday at work, and certainly look the business. I got them home last night and stacked them next to my set of Canistos for which the tyres are for. The Canistos have a mixed and match of tyres on but they are all 225/45/17. See attached.....

I'm a tad worried now that my new tyres won't fit under my arches of my 850 as the 225/45/17s aren't supposed to. Has anyone else had any problems with these tyres?

I never use anything else - but the C70 arches are bigger. You shouldn't have issues with 225 though - at least I wouldn't have thought so.

Ed - sorry i can't help on the size issue but when you get them fitted, i'd be interested to know how they perform. As you know i have some vredestein ultracs II on mine and rate them very highly (even in std 205/45 R17 size) but i believe they have been superseded by the sessanta versions you've just bought.

I have 215-40-17 sessanta's on mine and they have been excellent. I run Titans on my lowered 855 with no issues what so ever.
