Just spotted on Ebay from DBsports a new set of Pegusus 18" with cheapo tyres for the sum of £699.99. Is this a good buy and will I notice a different ride in my 2005 V70 T5. Has anybody done the same, does the ride get harder, I am not a fast driver but have always loved the looks of the Pegusus wheels on the R.

They'll be copies (of course) for that price. I had a set on one of my 850's and they where fine, just make sure you get a big enough tyre size fitted as the ones I got with mine where 215/35/18's (225/40/18's would be better) and they were too small. Your ride will be a lot firmer if your running a narrower tyre but not overly so.

I got the 17" version (wheel only) for my 2005 S60 from them, then I bought some seperate Vredestein tyres. Ride comfort on the 17"s is so much better than the 18"s, turn and grip levels with proper tyres is excellent.

Know its a rude ? but have to ask, how much did the 17" cost. I think I wish to stay to the 17" size.

May I suggest anthracite ones too. I think they would look very nice with your Titanium grey.

I have 17s peg replicas on my scarab green T5. I think anthracite wheels look good on dark coloured cars.

I would really quite like some 17" anthracite wheels for my P2 T5. Trouble is, all the "old style" wheels (comets, titans, etc) look odd on the P2s to my eyes. So I need some anthracite pegs... rare as.

From memory the wheels where £360 and the tyres were £79 a corner from camskills.
