i think pedro has fitted a 3" maf to bt but she wasnt too keen at first but as the ecu relearns i suppose it will all come fine best to ask pedro

No. The ME7 maf is a 5 wire item and a different shape to a motronic item.

Running a 3" maf also reduces the load upon which the standard maf sees and this alters the ecu calculations when used in a system designed to run a standard 2.75" maf. So anyone using a larger housing on a system designed for a standard smaller item is completely throwing all the cars ecu calculations as the load the maf sees will be less.
