oh dear, 400whp lol. According to my little list the standard compression ratio is 8.5:1 LINK (http://www.box.net/shared/vhnx9at61h)

it might be worth a try like and am after some rods with a decent history aswell , the only 1s i can find are the 1s on kalmar union and ebay. these are the only bits i need for the engine rebuild (unless i come across a prob when i strip the other engine down)

leet are you going to run a traction control system or management that limits boost in gear's as 400 at the wheels and won't be very good until you doing over 100mph as mate had a 520 bhp fiesta that was a nightmare and would run low boost that was 360 bhp and even that was a handful like 4 lanes of motorway.lol

what you going to use the t5 for then with that much power?

the Apexi AVC-R that i've got runs different boost levels per gear

fiesta had a quaife diff built for the gearbox and that used to go bang a lot like 8 times even had a specialist build it with higher gearing and he guarenteed it even knowing what it was for and it still blew up and he rebuilt for free.lol

leet i still reckon you need some sort of traction control and you will need to limit the boost for each gear and for wet weather because mine is standard at the mo and i can get wheelspin in second in the wet when boost comes in. power is not everything you'd be better off building a car that is driveable and fast rather than one that has so much power that it's unobtainable when trying to use the power or having so much electronics to control it that it's no fun but only in a straight line well if you can call torque steer straight.
300 or just over is about the limit that fwd is useful for.
why not try lightning the car as then you would'nt need so much power unless it's i have 400+ whp and it's an image thing as my mate with the fiesta has now transplanted the engine into a focus rs shell the early one and moaned at how much it owes him and even more when it was mapped and only did 579 bhp as he wanted 600 bhp he never learns as it's still a right pig to drive when on high boost.
i'm going to mod mine soon with dp,system,cone,re-map and hoping for around 300 bhp as it will be fast enough then.
