My blanking plate arrived today for my c70 2.3 t5 gt (1998)

As the car isnt at my house, i was wondering what all is involved before i go work on it, ive already got a Bailey Dv fitted on the boost to FMIC pipe, which im taking off to fit a HKS dv. Is the standard DV just one unit with a vacuum pipe going in, or is there more stuff to remove?

Step 1
Take off the vac pipes to the recirc valve and waist gate, also undo the clip for the boost pipe and move it out of the way

Step 2
next slacken the two 10mm bolts using a ratchet spanner.

step 3
next raise the car (following all safety precautions) and from underneath the car, remove this bolt.

Step 4
Once you've got the bottom bolt out, you can remove the two that you slackened earlier
and there you go.

can i then use the vacuum hose that went to this for my DV? Rather than the 2 metres of vac hose travelling round the engine bay i added?

cheers. Will get it done soon, hopefully the bailey will get a bit louder as it isnt releasing all of it itself.
