Annoying vibration

Yes, I know it's a very hard request to ask without actually listening, however...

Shortly after the MOT (at DPA Nottingham) my tank has developed a low RPM vibration that sounds like either a loose resonating exhaust baffle or heatshield kind of noise. It kicks in between 1200 - 2000 RPM so is very marked when you are moving off or low speed work.

Anyone experience similar?

The 'tank' BTW is a 2002MY T5 manual V70...

had exactly the same with my exhaust - apparently the manifold hadn't been tightened correctly after I'd had work done at some point.

Took it to an MOT station, they tightened up the bolts and sorted it for a tenner. Turns out someone had misaligned the threads and it had worked it's way loose.

I'd put the vid up but youtube seems to be down, I'll post it so you can compare later tonight.

Cheers Captain. I know the manifolds are prone to working loose on these engines.

last time i checked the a loose manifold isn't a gearbox fault? :shhh: I hear 'girltronic' gives far more bother usually ? :mischievo
