Strange temps advice needed?
Today did approx 450 miles, in last 150m noticed temp gauge that has always previously sat exactly in the middle no matter what the car is doing was getting colder and colder.
At one point at motorway speeds it was only just off the bottom of the gauge not even to the first of the marks. When slowed down to roadworks and a small stop start bit it moved up to about 1/4 then when back up to speed slowly went down again.
It was 1 degree on the outside temp and after noticing it I spent about 100miles watching it go up and down seemingly the only variable being the speed. Never seen it this low before in fact never noticed it being anything other than straight in the middle or maybe 1-2mm either way. I stopped and checked everything, plenty of coolant, no leaks, no warnings, no other symptoms.
Anyone else had similar and any cause for further checking?
