down pipe!!!

right chaps...have chance of a turbo 2 fit my car..lol..its off a 02 and its going on a 98 v70R.. so what down pipe will i need as i have no clue as 2 witch one any in for would be help full cheers lads..:hbomb:

The turbo is coming off an 02 car, a t5? If so, that will be a 16t turbo. AFAIK your V70R will already have an 18t.

AFAIK the oil and water connections will be in the wrong place as well.

my turbo i think is a TDO4HL-16T,,auto..i was told the 18t went on the manual..not sure now tho..lol..might have 2 take mine of..F**K..any want this dam car its now driveing me daft..jokeing,,lol,,

Is your current turbo buggered then?

AFAIK (could be wrong!), you will have a straight flange 16t (or possibly 18t?). If you were to fit a P2 16t it will have an angled flange exhaust housing, so you'd need a downpipe to suit. Second hand, they're rare to get hold of, and new very expensive! So you may be better off just getting a 16t from a P1 T5.

Or just split the turbos at the V bands and keep the required exhaust housing.

just done the pcv..and still smoking..ruled out the head as this was done just befor i got it..so not sure what else it can be..open 2 offers as what it might be..:tombstone
