Does anyone know where the ecu gets it's signal to cut fuel when there is to much boost?

Could be the maf but might be wrong.

Yes, the threshold to determine an "overboost" condition is set in the ECU, based on the signal from the MAF.

So does that mean that if there's a fault with the MAF then it could either bring the boost cut in sooner or later than it should?

No, you missunderstand, I havent got a problem,Im running an upsolute ecu and would have expected it to have raised the fuel cut point, but it cuts the fuel at .9 bar.
So, can i use a pneumatic fuel cut defender, or will i have to use an electronic one?
