ignition leads

hi guys thinking of putting some new ignition leads on 850 t5 do i put genuine volvo or performance ones on. wot have u got on yours?

Genuine Volvo are never a bad choice in the old HT department :)

Depends how much cheaper you get decent alternatives for I guess?

I've got IPD ones on mine, but at the time with the exchange rate, they weren't much more than the genuine ones. I am running with genuine plugs though.

I fitted Volvo ones, but bought them from PFV as they were a lot cheaper than even Rufe could quote me.

I expected them to be from OE manufacturer, but they were even branded Volvo. Solved an intermittent misfire on mine :)

Hi smithness, I tried three different sets on my 'R' totally wasting time & money, ended up with Magnecor KV85 Competition, 8.5mm leads.. Never looked back, however, that said & done, also tried twin, triple & four fire plugs ended back with the proper platinum Volvo, now it's perfect.

I bought some OEM ones cant remember from where but they were exactly the same make as the Volvo ones just cheaper :-)

Using standard volvo plugs on both cars

i got a performance set from Halfrauds, been fine with no problems
