instead of getting a bcs i might just get a mbc.. anyone got one of these ones? :-

aslong as it is the BCS causing the problem then i'd say it'd be a good way to go, used one similiar to that & worked very well (but say it wasn't that exact one)

well im just submising its that, as the other day when i put my foot down it was boostin like anything and the cut off was cutting in ( nearly putting me through the windscreen) lol now its hardly boosting at all, about 6psi in all the gears

I bought mine from him. Alright except the spring needs cutting down a bit.
Even with it wound right out it's too much and you'll get fuel cut.
My brother fitted an old ball point pen spring in his, And it's working much better :D

lol i dont think you can either mate.... anyone know i took the bcs off earlier to clean it and blew through it and i blew straight through it without any struggling... would that mean its knacked?

there shouldn't be any air resistance anyway, they work by draining some of the air from the pipe to the wastegate & sending to back into the air intake

i reckon its goosed, as it started overboosting the other week, now im only boostin about 6psi.. hopefully the mbc will come tomorro and will try and fit it.. even though its snowin lol

well recieved the mbc this mornin, and wow what a difference it is now ive fitted it, 1,2 nd gear boostin at 10 psi and in 3,4,5th boostin at 12 psi is this a safe boost pressure??

Yes pritty much a safe boost to run at.

yeh 13-14psi is considered to be safe on a stock ECU, don't half make the drive more aggressive doesn't it?
