I am hopefuly getting towards the end of my fight with the lambda light.
I have replaced the MAF and the front sensor (thats what the codes showed up) and repaired the loom where it had been butchered.
It isnt the neatest repair as the guy who sold me the connector only left a tiny bit of wire to attach connectors to. Anyway its all hooked up and the light is still on.
Once finished i did take the negative lead off the battery for a while in an attempt to rest the code. Does the code need programming off? if so then i'll get it done.
If its not fixable i can see my self loosing interest real fast as no car is worth that much hassle.
What do you reckon? clear the codes properly or should disconning the battery have the same effect? will a repaired loom throw a code up? all genuine connectors have been used.
