V70 Top Mount

was just interested as to what the top mount does and what side effects there are if it is very worn out! :-0

i can tell you first hand m8 i have a v70 t5 2002 which i brought only about 3 weeks ago the guy i brought it from knew that the top engine mount was split and left it i brought a poly bush straight away but was to late the damage had already been done the engine rocking backwards and forwards has resulted in the cat pipe splitting in half and is now going to cost me £640. for a new cat from volvo :-((((

Well I replaced my top mount with a poly type one. There was nothing wrong with the old one but I had heard they made it sound pretty good.
It must be witchcraft or something my 97 v70 t5 sounds ace, it's like an induction noise it sounds ace a cheap and excellent mod.

I have just bought one of fleebay. Its actually came from Larkspeed. Around £20 motes. Haven't fitted it yet mind. Not had the time.
