Yesterday on my way from Littlehampton to Boxhill I got complete done up by a black mini clubman!.
It was leaving me at 85!!! :jaw: . Made me look a real plonker :slap:

the clubman front end can hide many a thing, a local lad had to put a clubman front on his mini to cover the Vauxhall 2litre 16Valve he'd managed to squeeze in

A friend esed to have a 3.5 rover lump in his with a few body work mods.

Yes,The last owner came from sevenoaks.
The Mini was a Honda engined rocket,Sounded like an 1800 VTech,Caught me off car cruising in 4th exiting a roundabout,Just heared this thing scream past me,By the time i got it wound up in second and third he was about 30 car lenths in front and slowly leaving me.

I have a mini with a 2.0 XE Vauxhall engine in it, runs carbs and cams and has approx. 200bhp. Does the quarter in the low 14's and leaves my 850R for dead! And yes the R is in tip top condition and has all of it's alleged 250 bhp present! The mini engine is currently stripped for rebuilding,(not quick enough!) going for throttle bodies,4-2-1 manifold and higher spec cams and an LSD for better traction, should be around 220-230 bhp.Should get into the 13's on the quarter mile when done, then comes the Nitrous!
