pulled onto the slip road onto the a19 tonight in 3rd and the car like cut out ( as in was goin to stop dead) but as soon as i took my foot off the acceleratore it was ok.Ive just had the gasket on the turbo oil return pipe fixed could this have anythin to do with it.... the turbo seems to be boosting alot better but i would like any advice on what the cutting out could of been??? could it of been the rev limiter?

cheers

my bet is its the ECU boost limit cut in, have you kinked the actuator pipe when you done the seal or anything

this is mine hitting the boost limit

dont think they kinked it.ye it did go a bit like yours in the video.. its as if it wants to come to a complete standstill if we didnt have the seatbelts on we would of went flyin lol... the boost was full on like so you probablies right thats what it was the ecu boost control :s lol....

Yeah check your wastegate and BCS pipes, could be one has cracked due to age and disturbing it for the head removal, or the mechanic didn't put it back right.

Could be as the MAF is one of the sensors in the group which calculate what the boost is, and if it thinks the boost is high it'll cut in.
