This weekend im going to remove the catch tank and hoses for cleaning,im thinking of fitting an aftermarket catch tank instead of the pcv canister in a more accsessible place rather than under the inlet manifold against the block and exhausting to atmosphere with a braether instead of back into the turbo system.Has anybody already done this and are there any reasons as to why i shouldnt do it?

i've been thinking about doing it that way myself & removing the PCV, but not sure how it will work

i'm thinking of the 3 engine breather outlets (pipes A, H & main pipe in C) joined up via 15mm T-pieces to the catch tank inlet, & block up the sump inlet (pipe G)

if your leaving the PCV then simply remove connection E from the air inlet to the turbo & put it to the inlet on your catch tank, have a small piece of pipe then on the catch tank outlet which you leave open to the atmosphere. Obviously you block up the hole in the turbo inlet pipe
