Took my Pegs off the S60, to put winter set of Thors on , while the roads are gritty and filthy.

And found the rear two tyres, which have been on a while, completely bald and down through the canvas on inside.

The car was 4 wheel laser aligned about a year ago. Looks like its way out again. Would lower suspension affect the geometry that bad on the rear ??

is it rubbing somewhere perhaps ??

I have Eibach camber adjustment kit fitted on front, which has kept the negative camber in check there.

That's pretty serious wear - makes me think you've got abnormal movement somewhere in the suspension, or the rear track is seriously out?

How much has it been lowered by? Folks on here may be able to confirm but the suspension travel 'pattern' might not be ideal, as you suggest although I'd doubt it's rubbing - think you'd probably notice.

30 mm drop eibach spring kit

front ones had worn out uneven on inside too, but more normal like you would get with negative camber .

i will get the geometry checked again, its into garage tommorrow for rear caliper replaced it sticks and was nearly onfire this morning

thats both rear calipers changed recently, mintex disk, pads and handbrake shoes, etc etc.

Caaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmmber!

My rears did that too with a 40mm drop, but on the outer edge. I also had inner edge wear on the fronts.

I'm blaming tracking for the fronts & Camber on the rears.

I'm not aware of any possible remedy for this though. IPD do an offset bush (tee-hee) which alters the rear camber, but it's made for the R model.

Are your shocks ok? I've only seen wear patterns like that when the shox were worn out. Yes, I grant you that camber has caused the wear on the edge but that uneven wear pattern is indicative of poor damping . . .

Or hooring it round corners & hoping it sticks!
