door strips

any 1 know how to get the door strips off

Slide them forward or backwards on the door ( cant remember which :doh: ) then they pull off :B_thumb:

cheers bud some has put some blackener on them or something and theres bits on the paint that i want to try and get off

Have you tried a cotton bud ( ear thing ;) ) soaked in thinners to get in there ?

Always works for me.

av tryed g3 like and a couldnt get in really like , the full car wants a machine polish really like so

on the inside of the doors at the end there is a small black grommet, take the grommet out & there is a little hex screw holding them into place. Take the screw out & slide the strip an inch or two & it'll come off
