its 1 18 scal e, about 12"s long, wife got me it as a present cos i cant drive my own one so i can look at this one lol!!

The leve of detail is quite amazing, even has 1 2 and 3 on teh seat memory and the cruise switch etc!!

Need to get the wheels done dark tho !! Might even be really sad and get the red 850R version to rob the volans off it so it really looks like mine !!!

It has now arrived! Oh, the ecstasy!!!

It is like being about seven, and getting - well, the best toy car you ever had (actually when I was seven it would have been a model Simon Snorkel Fire Engine - but I never did: boo hoo).

This is one LOVELY model. The only complaints are no sunroof, it is a black not beige interior, and the Volans are not quite the right shade of anthracite (but good enough). But otherwise, brilliant - all the doors open, the engine bay detail is superb (albeit LHD) - even the hinges work in the Volvo style. If you can afford one of these, get it. If I had not paid so much, I would now be going brmmm brmmm up and down my office corridor with it. As it is, I am brmm brmmming, just without the car - have to do a Wobbly Dave model and use that instead.

Doesn't the big one almost induce a feeling of faintness it is so brilliant? I tell you, if i can get away with buying a Gull T5R Autoart model sometime now i have taken delivery of the red 850R, I certainly will!

:hilarious That sounds SOOOOOO familiar - fate of the old T5. Eating and drinking forbidden in R - including trips to drive thru. Sick bags in rear seats etc!

Cheer up - things get better when the youngest reaches 5. Then they would smash up your 1:18 Autoart 850R - except am now wise enough to keep it in my offices.
