Hi All

i have got rust on the wings and now has turned into a hole:worried:

so im not sure what to do when it comes to the respray.

now how much would i expect to to get atleast 1 maybe 2 done?

or should i do it my self?

any help or advice would be very welcome

Why not just buy another wing and have it resprayed

I would source new wings if you have holes in your current ones as rust is very difficult to stop once it is in the metal, if you can't afford new get second hand good wings as they will be better than what you have currently.

I would run with the advice above mate, and get hold of some new/decent second hand wings.

oh just to clear it up im getting 2 wings which are black mine are going in the bin.

right i have 2 second hand wings what sort of price would i expect to pay for respray?

or

should i do it myself?

it all depends on what quality job you want doing remember when the wings are being resprayed they will need to be blended in i had the front end of my car resprayed for £350 and they did a damm good job

well it serarate panels not sure how they would be blended in just a bloody good polish ofr the other areas i think is the key imo. or am i well wrong? id like to know how they do blend in if im wrong.

Wings need to be blended into the doors as its unlikely that you'll get a perfect colour match due to ageing paint/fade. This stops there being a definate line making it obvious that the wings have been painted.
