Talking to the dealer about a few things and he mentioned the "active on demand unit".
According to him is is on all XC70's from 01 - 08 and fits mine.
Now is this true or is this actually the Haldex unit?
A little new to these cars so any info would be could. Don't know if mine has the viscous or haldex.
He has a brand new one in stock on the shelf at a 1/3 of the cost of the control unit on its own.
TBH I'm not sure if mine has this or not as there are no maual that cover the AWD versions available here in the UK - Haynes won't cover them or the R's.
Is it worth swapping it out if it is anyway at that price or is he just trying to get rid of old stock?
