Well I guess the cold weather must have fooled my missus' T5 into thinking that it was in the Lake District as it decided to die on her way to work ! (It usually saves that till we are on holiday !). So off I go to the rescue and after sitting in a 20 minute traffic jam (caused by said Volvo !) I finally reached her. Thankfully after a few minutes of testing with frozen fingers it turned out that the fuel pump had died. Half an hour behind an AA van saw me at work (the wife swiped my Laguna to carry on to her work) and a fuel pump turned up at lunchtime (I'd ordered it whilst waiting for AA man). The pump was a GSF item and pretty cheap and nasty, half the size and not a very good fit in the tank unit but it got it running again. Anyone used one from them ?...don't know whether to leave it be or find a better replacement.
