bonnet release?and other niggles!

Hi the bonnet on the s70 doesn't always "pop" when the lever is pulled and i thing it may be due to the spring/lift being old! can these be replaced easily? is this a common problem?

sweaky dash! Whats the best way of finding the squeak?

front number plate attachment? no matter what kind of sticky pad i use it always seems to lift off on one side what do you use to hold it down? Screws? plate holders?

any info much appreciated!

Best bet for the dash is to remove it and refit it first as its only a ten minute job its worth a try just to see if a refit sorts the squeak.

My number plate was held on with two number plate screws.

No idea on the bonnet though sorry.

my plates are held on with double sided tape 3 strips the full length of the plate once pressed on used maskin tape from the top of the bumper over the plate onto the underside just for a few hours to let it get a propper grip mines aint moved

Have you tried something as simple as WD40 on your bonnet release catches? Or silicon grease?

The bonnet catches on my old V70 were tearing away from the bonnet which affected it efficiacy.
