engine cross-stay bushes

I think these are the right ones for cross-stay

but i just want to make sure as my stay seems very loose

The "stay" bar shuld have a good bit of play in it, I'd personally forget that & get the solid mounts that replace them.

The top mount for the engine has two bushes (one's smaller than the one you have pictured) & this is a good mod.

Alternativly, save up a bit & get the strut brace for the S60/V70.

its supposed to have a lot of play in them, you are best to change them for solid ones as mentioned, that changes it from a engine support bar to a front strut brace, and adds a nice note to the engine. You can get machined ones from red brick racing in the states but they are about £100 delivered.

Although born a southerner, I guess I can be considered a tight Northern git now :duck: having paid the princely sum of about a quid for a small bag of 1/2" repair washers from B&Q for this conversion :D

sorry just noticed 2 bushes so i am ordering powerflex bushes x2 and i going to do the washer stunt thanks for all the help
