View Full Version : Dump Valve Fitting on T4

I have a Forge dump valve which I will be fitting to my S40 T4 once the country thaws out, but have concerns.

I've looked at it, and have concerns about being able to get to the OE valve on the turbo and removing it/fitting the blanking plate.

I am aware that it helps to take the top off the airbox to free up space, but I am still concerned about accessing the valve, given all the pipework in and around the area.

How practical is it to do this? I am not going to fit the new valve as recommended, as this involves cutting the boost pipe, and I don't want to do this, then find I cannot remove the OE valve, or fit the blanking plate....!!

Any advice appreciated!

Cheers
