As in title what cars have the B5234T5 in them is it just a normal T5 engine or is it the engine that were in some R's eg T-5R etc.

Cos i've still got a brand new clutch for one and am going to stick it on E-bay but would be handy to know what it for.

Anyboby any ideas

I know its a T5 engine just wondered if it was the one used in the T-5R cos looking at the part numbers on vadis the clutch i have is only for that perticular engine and i wondered why, what was so special about that engine compaired to all the others

Just checked my owners manual and yes that engine (B5234T5) relates to the T-5R, 240hp @ 5600rpm and 300Nm/33-94rps

hope this helps

Isn't that purely the ECU on it? The actual engine is the same is it not?

Well they use the same flywheel so am guessing the clutch is just a little more heavy duty to take the extra power, or the extra stick cos don't some the the 850 R models have LSD's in them.

My clutch on my s40 is about shot and i've been looking to see if i can get a T4 one to fit and while looking found the clutch in mine is fitted to loads of volvo's.
