ok im gonna get a rebuild for my 855 t5 im gonna use standard pistons and rods but better beairngs and bolts valve spring and stuff like that, im gonna get a s60r turbo and manifold and injectors inducton kit alloy intercooler(if its worth it) 2.5/3" system maybe bigger valves and ported head i think a full map is best but y r chips more than a remap? wot do u think would b best? thank u rob

A replacement chip will have a new map on it so theres the remap. MTE offer a ECU flash service and are the only people to do so I think and that is a new map flashed onto your standard ECU.

if your going to do all that work it really is a good idea to think about changing the con-rods while your at it, there going to the first thing to break once you start winding the power up

i wasnt gonna do the rods and stuff as i was gonna try keep the price down but if u think i should im gonna do the pistons as well just take me longer to do

standard pistons are good upto 400-450bhp, its just the rods were made by Cadbury

its the torque that bends rods not bhp that is why people are saying change the rods
