Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know that some friends of mine have started a new Street Legal Drag Racing series. We all used to race in the Street Racer Series and have decided to move away and start a fresh!

All you need is a car with an Mot and tax road legal tyres and a full exhaust and off you go. The points are awarded for time, reaction time and attendance etc. They are a great bunch of people and race all sorts of motors and there is no snobbery. I have raced with them for 5 years and raced 4 cylinder to v8's and run from 15's to 13's with no attitude just a good laugh!

Thinking about getting a cheap t5 to strip and race ;)

let me know if any one fancies it!

sorry if it wasn't clearer.. it is for road legal cars only and not specials or race only cars.you have to be taxed and tested and running road tyres no slicks and a full exhaust.

Looks great- some very cool cars there! Best of luck with it mate :D

I'd love to but would be too costly in ferry journeys to and from France!

What's the cut-off date for entries? might have a chance of getting the zed done for the start of the season if it's not too early....

no cut off just join up on the forum and pay your membership. Then you get the race number and the dates are listed on the site. You turn up when you can some meets are weekends but you don't have to stay the whole weekend as long as you do a run then it is logged. we all park up together in the pits and have a laugh.

Sounds like a laugh... do you mind if I spread this around the innerwebnet a little? Only to trusted sites, no barryboys, or trash like that....

joined... awaiting approval.....

more the merrier! we had about 35 active racers at srs and there were yanks to mk1 escorts running cossy engines. Most have moved over to outlaw we want it to be popular then the race dates are easier to arrange and sponsorship as well for prizes!! :)

Dont diss the BB massive.
They do their own race meets anyway and at least one member is a proper drag racer but I could see a few of them interested.
Especially if there is some plastic covered tat there :D
