my friend has a t5 and has bourght 1 of those chips of e bay. he has put the chip in his ecu and now his car wont start, he took the chip back off the ecu and the car still wont start. he has asked if he can check the car with my ecu, but i am not sure that it will if as mine is a t5r. cheers

As long as it's auto to auto or manual to manual and its the 4.4/3?(i think) you will be ok
