Has anyone got any knowlwdge of this, i managed to get one from a salvage car and obviously need to program it to suit my car but cant find details on how to do it anywhere?

The old turn ign on 5 times and hit lock doesnt work with this fob ( basic alarm, black square, lock / unlock buttons at top )

Anyone else had any success ?

Any help appreciated

Er.. no the method you've already used should have worked, are you sure the fob's ok?.

Yeah, the 5 times trick only works on the Guard II alarms, i bet its a dealer thing only

i got told it was 10 times by the master tech at marshalls when i had my green 850 as i tried the 5 time version and it did not work, apperently when the little red light on top of the dash flashes like mad its ready to recieve the alarm fob

The reprogramming procedure only works on the fobs with the buttons above one another....

The side by side fobs as used on a few 850 and the 900 range, although i am unfamiliar with would, i expect need some dealer software..
You could try a matching fob and relay off ebay which i expect will be ok...
