It has an OBDII reader that is found under the coin holder near the gear stick - so has aquired a really irritatingly difficult system to replace the old-fashioned led diagnostic thing!

Yes you have to read the flash codes produced through the OBD2 unit..The codes are not themselves OBD2 complient which is why a OBD2 reader will not get the flashcodes...

You will need to pass a - pulse into port 3 and read the - feedback against the + from port 16 using a 12V led....

You could use this as a guide tho the 850R are notorious IMO to get codes from...
