Air Con Lights Flashing ??

I had a new cambelt fitted yesterday and weirdly now the air con lights are flashing maybe just a coincidence I suppose?? I had doubts if it worked anyway as no noise from compressor.

Anything I can check for myself or does it need to go to air con specialist.

Anyone know someone in Chelt/Glos area??

On my 1998 V70 R AWD.There are some settings on the air con you can do , for instance , "setting it to demist for 10 mins then switch off etc".
When you make these settings the orange and green lights flash around a bit.
I cant remember how to set it up ,its in the manual ,(I think you press and hold the on /off buttons for number of seconds)
Flashing lights are there to tell you there could be a fault also ,but the patterns are different i am told.
This is on the 1998 V70 but they might have the same units??

My point is , this could have happend by mistake when your car was being worked on (gremlins) , as it happend to me when I removed my batt once !

If your compressor is working you should be ok.
